辛纳在接受采访时解释了缺席原因，他表示自己已经两次赢得戴维斯杯，由于年底赛季漫长，他需要多休息一周以便早点开始训练，目标是在澳网卫冕。
过去两年因时间不够，他在澳网的准备未能做到最好，所以和团队做出了不参加2025年戴维斯杯决赛的决定。
