【嫦娥六号月壤中发现陨石残留物有助解释月球水来源】财联社10月21日电，我国科学家在对嫦娥六号2克月壤样品的科学分析中，识别出来自CI型碳质球粒陨石的撞击残留物，而此前在月球样品中检测到的具有正氧同位素特征的水，很可能来自这类陨石的撞击贡献。该成果已于北京时间10月21日凌晨3时发表于国际学术期刊《美国国家科学院院刊》（PNAS）。
