10月17日，上海垣信卫星科技有限公司“千帆星座”第六批组网卫星以“一箭18星”方式成功发射，卫星顺利入轨并运行正常。至此，“千帆星座”在轨卫星总数达108颗，通信能力进一步提升。该星座由垣信自主研发并商业化运营，采用Ku、Q/V频段，提供宽带通信、互联网接入等服务。
