10月9日，四川广安有网友称武胜县中医医院家属不献血不给病人做手术，引发关注。10月10日，涉事医院工作人员表示，血库告急，只能保证急诊用血。武胜县卫健局工作人员回应：不是强制献血，是提倡，患者也没献血，医院下周一给他做手术，已解释清楚了。
