10月8日，小米汽车副总裁李肖爽在微博确认，官方车模全系采用锌合金车身，底盘为塑料，尺寸仅1:18、1:43、1:64三种，其余均为仿品。
他提醒消费者，网络上已出现小米汽车车模仿品，呼吁大家通过官方渠道购买。9月底上市的SU7 Ultra原型车1:43合金车模售价149元，提供闪电黄、太空银配色，复刻闪电拉花、U型风刀、水滴大灯及碳纤维后视镜纹理等细节。
