IT之家 10 月 8 日消息，谷歌量子计算部门 Google Quantum AI 当地时间 10 月 2 日宣布已完成对 MIT（麻省理工学院）衍生量子计算初创企业 Atlantic Quantum 的收购，后者团队加入谷歌。
Atlantic Quantum 专注于开发高度集成的量子计算硬件，该企业的模块化量子芯片堆栈集成技术将帮助 Google Quantum AI 更有效地扩展超导量子比特硬件，并加速其迈向大型纠错量子计算机和现实世界应用的进度。
Google Quantum AI 在 2024 年末推出了 Willow 量子芯片，能仅以 5 分钟完成传统超算需要 1025 年的计算任务。
