慈溪首批公交车开通运营
1995年5月29日城区公交车正式开通运营，标志着慈溪无公交车的历史宣告结束。有1、2、3、5四条线路，共44辆公交车。
1998年10月30日城区公交车成功扩运发展到1、2、3、5、6、7、8七条线路，共108辆公交车。
