据上铁集团消息，10月6日是中秋节，长三角铁路客流持续保持高位运行，当天预计发送旅客342万人次，较去年同期增加14.2万人次。上铁集团在启用高峰运行图的基础上，计划增开155列长三角至南昌、武汉、广州、郑州等方向旅客列车，组织289列动车组列车重联运行；同时于10月6日、7日计划增开74列夜间高铁列车，努力满足旅客乘车出行需求。
