受持续降雨影响，汉江上游来水快速增加，10月3日23时丹江口水库入库流量涨至15000立方米每秒，根据《长江干流石鼓至寸滩江段和流域重要跨省支流洪水编号规定》，达到汉江洪水编号标准，“汉江2025年第5号洪水”在汉江上游形成。
