9月26日，美国国家公路交通安全管理局（NHTSA）表示，由于发动机启动继电器可能发生腐蚀，导致继电器过热并短路，宝马北美公司正召回部分2019-2021款宝马330i、2019-2022款宝马Z4、2020-2022款宝马530i、X3、X4、丰田Supra、2021-2022款宝马430i、 430i敞篷版以及2022款宝马230i车型，共计196355辆。
