财联社9月24日电，应用材料与格芯宣布建立全新合作伙伴关系，共同推动光子技术在人工智能应用领域的发展，特别是在增强现实(AR)与数字体验方向。双方将在格芯新加坡基地共建尖端波导制造工厂。根据协议，应用材料公司将负责开发波导元件，格芯则作为其大规模制造合作伙伴。
