当地时间18日至19日，智利举行215周年国庆庆祝活动和阅兵仪式，纪念推翻殖民统治取得独立。
为纪念1810年举行的象征推翻西班牙殖民统治的首届政府会议，智利将每年的9月18日定为国庆日，9月19日被定为“军队荣耀日”，在首都举行阅兵仪式。
从9月18日直至9月底，智利全国将持续举办丰富多样的庆祝活动。
