新福镇过江通道桥是平陆运河建设的重要配套工程，位于新福镇新宁街附近，全长562米，桥宽12米，采用“先梁后拱”的建设模式，建成后将极大地便利运河两岸地区居民出行，促进沿线物资流通，成为连接周边地区的重要纽带。
