北京时间9月12日，英超官方宣布，利物浦主帅斯洛特当选联赛8月最佳主教练。
在8月份进行的新赛季英超前3轮比赛中，斯洛特率领利物浦取得了全胜的成绩，他们分别4-2战胜了伯恩茅斯、3-2战胜了纽卡斯尔联、1-0战胜了阿森纳，目前以积9分的成绩领跑英超积分榜。
如今英超官方确认，斯洛特成功当选新赛季首月的最佳主教练。
