中国地震台网正式测定：09月10日15时41分在广东汕头市南澳县海域（北纬23.30度，东经117.36度）发生3.8级地震，震源深度11千米，震中位于北纬23.30度，东经117.36度，距海岸线最近约30公里。
不少网友表示：
“有震感”
历史地震：根据中国地震台网速报目录，震中周边200公里内近5年来发生3级以上地震共10次，最大地震是2023年10月23日在广东汕头市南澳县海域发生的5.0级地震（距离本次震中4公里），历史地震分布如图。
