古史载，有虞氏部族首领虞舜曾禅位给夏禹。但夏王朝建立后，距今约4200～4100年前的时候，多数有虞氏族人离开中原，他们究竟去了哪里？1990年，江苏兴化村民用锄头整地时，发现了兽骨、陶片和石器等遗存，从而解开了这一历史谜题。
