加拿大魁北克省政府9月2日宣布，将终止对电池公司Northvolt旗下Northvolt Batteries North America的资助，理由是该公司“未能就魁北克的利益提出令人满意的计划”。
魁北克省政府对该项目的投资总额为5.1亿美元，损失金额为2.7亿美元，还包括一笔规模2.4亿美元、用于购买土地的担保贷款。
