9月2日，据“中国铁路”消息，8月31日，为期62天的铁路暑运圆满结束。7月1日至8月31日，全国铁路累计发送旅客9.43亿人次，同比增长4.7%，国家铁路累计发送货物7.02亿吨，同比增长4.8%，客货运量均创历史同期新高，铁路运输安全平稳有序。
