8月25日，横琴长隆海洋王国两只率先破壳的帝企鹅宝宝“皮皮”和“啾啾”，在企鹅爸爸“年糕”“石头”的陪伴下正式亮相。帝企鹅宝宝“皮皮”于7月25日出生，“啾啾”于7月26日出生。
今年横琴长隆首次迎来“子二代”帝企鹅的诞生。截至目前，横琴长隆企鹅繁育总数已超400只。
