西班牙国家气象局8月24日说，该国8月3日至18日遭遇的16天热浪是有记录以来“最猛烈热浪”，初步数据显示，此轮热浪的平均气温比以往热浪高4.6摄氏度，刷新了2022年7月创下的纪录。
据法新社报道，依照西班牙国家气象局说法，在刚刚结束的这轮热浪中，8月8日至17日“至少是自1950年以来”最热的连续10天。
