8月22日，WTT欧洲大满贯瑞典站女单1/4决赛，陈熠4-1（15-13、11-7、15-13、11-13、11-6）战胜莎宾-温特晋级，半决赛陈熠将对阵孙颖莎。
陈熠赛后表示：双方都已经发挥淋漓尽致，可能自己耐心方面会稍微好一些，我已经毫无保留地发挥了。暂停是给节奏的一个缓冲，让自己静下来再去一分分想技战术。
