当地时间18日晚间，暴雨突袭也门，在首都萨那和南部港口城市亚丁引发洪水。截至当地时间19日，洪水造成亚丁10人受伤及重大物资损失。
也门媒体称，亚丁省长拉马拉斯已下达紧急令，要求卫生部门为洪灾受害者提供全面救治。
过去十余年，也门基础设施因也门政府军与胡塞武装的冲突受损严重，进一步加剧了洪水对当地民众的冲击。
