8月20日下午，位于冲绳县宇流麻市的美军设施“白滩”附近海域一艘驻日美军舰船起火。目前船员正在进行灭火作业，日本自卫队相关船舶也已前往协助灭火。据海上保安部消息，起火的是驻日美军“新奥尔良”号，全长208.4米、宽32米，总吨位24433吨。目前，火灾的原因、损失情况以及是否有人员受伤尚不清楚。（CCTV国际时讯）
