北京时间8月14日，曼城官方宣布，球队新援谢尔基将接过球队的10号球衣，随后，他录制了视频，谈到了自己的感受。
谢尔基说：“很高兴能接过10号球衣，我等不及要在阿提哈德球场踢球了，Come On City。”
谢尔基现年21岁，他在今年6月以3650万欧元的价格加盟曼城，代表球队征战了今年夏天的世俱杯。在征战世俱杯期间，谢尔基身披的是29号球衣。
