胖东来回应招聘“刑释人员”

8月10日深夜，胖东来创始人于东来在社交平台发布关于招聘“刑释人员”的说明。

Yu Donglai, founder of the widely known retail chain Pangdonglai, announced on Sunday via social media that the company plans to hire ex-offenders.

胖东来表示，此次招聘“刑释人员”，是基于人性的善良和美好，希望各个群体的人们都能够得到社会的尊重和关爱，能让每个人有尊严地生活。那些曾经犯法的人，其实在接受刑罚之后，已经是平等的合法公民。我们应该帮助他们拥有再次融入社会、具备相应的美好生活的能力。

The statement said the initiative stems from a belief in "the goodness and beauty of humanity", with the goal of ensuring that all members of society are treated with respect and care, and that everyone can live with dignity.

胖东来倡导社会对刑释人员不歧视、不戴有色眼镜，让他们能够被社会善良宽容的接纳，拥有平等的尊严、人格和追求生命幸福的机会及权利。

胖东来强调，公司在这些方面也不成熟，第一次这样招聘，先从中轻度犯罪的刑释人员加入到团队中，然后再逐步开放合理名额给中重度犯罪类型刑释人员。

Pangdonglai noted that this is its first effort in the area, starting with the recruitment of individuals who have served sentences for minor offenses, and gradually opening suitable positions to those with more serious criminal records.

同时，胖东来还表示，也希望不能进入胖东来或者在各行各业的刑释人员，坚定学习科学的生活理念和生活方法，放下没用的面子，不在乎任何人的眼光和评价，勇敢地选择自己喜欢的行业和职业。

The company also called on the public to treat ex-offenders with kindness and tolerance, allowing them to regain dignity and pursue fulfilling lives. It encouraged former inmates to take a rational approach to life, rise above prejudice, and pursue careers they are passionate about.
