On the top of a high-rise building in Tel Aviv, M4 Apartment uses architecture as an exhibition wall and light and shadow as a curator, weaving the life trajectory and collection passion of a couple of art lovers into a flowing spatial narrative. There is no alienation of an art gallery here, but it is full of curatorial refinement; there is no clutter of a home, but it is full of the warmth of life - architect Raz Melamed uses precise design language to make art and daily life achieve the most touching symbiosis here.

在特拉维夫的高楼之上，M4 公寓以建筑为展墙，以光影为策展人，将一对艺术爱好者夫妇的生活轨迹与收藏热情编织成流动的空间叙事。这里没有美术馆的疏离感，却处处透着策展级的精致；没有家居的杂乱感，却满溢生活的温度 —— 建筑师 Raz Melamed 用精准的设计语言，让艺术与日常在此达成最动人的共生。

When you open the door, the light of Tel Aviv becomes the first exhibit in the space. In order to let the art unfold in the light, Melamed repeatedly discussed the window layout with the architect from the beginning of the design: removing the fixed glass and horizontal partitions, replacing them with large unobstructed windows, allowing the Mediterranean sunshine and breeze to flow in unimpeded. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the west side are particularly generous, bringing the evening glow and city lights into the room. When the owner holds a party here, the indoor artworks and the urban night view outside the window become each other's background, completing a dialogue between nature and humanity.

推开门，特拉维夫的光线便成了空间的第一幅展品。为了让艺术在光中舒展，Melamed 从设计之初便与建筑方反复推敲窗景布局：拆除固定玻璃与水平隔断，代之以大面积无遮挡开窗，让地中海的阳光与微风不受阻隔地涌入。西侧的落地窗尤其慷慨，将黄昏的霞光与城市灯火引入室内，当主人在此举办聚会，室内的艺术品与窗外的都市夜景便成了彼此的背景，完成一场自然与人文的对话。

The story of light is not only about introduction, but also about shaping. In the restaurant, the lighting system designed by FLOS lamps and museum lighting expert Tzipi Frank has customized a unique "spotlight" for each piece of art: the outline of the sculpture becomes more distinct in the light and shadow, and the colors of the painting are more layered in the soft light. The FLOS floor lamp in the living room casts diffuse light, making the coffee table and stone side table designed by Yves Klein appear warm and textured in the light and shadow, as if the art and furniture are breathing gently in the light.

光线的叙事不止于引入，更在于塑造。在餐厅，FLOS 灯具与博物馆照明专家 Tzipi Frank 共同设计的灯光系统，为每一件艺术品定制了专属 “聚光灯”：雕塑的轮廓在光影中愈发鲜明，画作的色彩在柔光中更显层次。而客厅的 FLOS 落地灯则洒下漫射光，让 Yves Klein 设计的咖啡桌与石质边几在光影中浮现温润质感，仿佛艺术与家具都在光中轻轻呼吸。

The texture of the space is hidden in the precise proportion of materials. The travertine stone at the entrance is the anchor of the space, extending from the ground to the bathroom wall and the sink cabinet, laying the steady tone of the space with the heavy feeling of large pieces of stone. This natural roughness forms a clever tension with the stainless steel elements - the stainless steel countertop inlaid on the integrated stone table in the restaurant and the metal edge of the kitchen island, the cold industrial texture and the warmth of the stone collide to create a contemporary atmosphere, just like the symbiosis of classic and modern in art collection.

空间的质感藏在材质的精准配比中。入口处的 travertine 石材是空间的锚点，从地面延伸至浴室墙面与洗手台柜体，以大块石材的厚重感奠定空间的沉稳基调。这种自然的粗犷与不锈钢元素形成巧妙张力 —— 餐厅的一体石桌上镶嵌的不锈钢台面、厨房岛台的金属边缘，冷冽的工业质感与石材的温润碰撞出当代气息，恰如艺术收藏中古典与现代的共生。

Custom carpentry is the "invisible magician" of space. Those structural diagonal braces that may disrupt the visual smoothness are cleverly hidden in the cabinet, which not only maintains the simple lines of the space, but also quietly expands the storage function. The TV room next to the living room is half-hidden and half-transparent with a glass door. The warmth of the fireplace, the softness of the plush sofa and the artistic colors of the wall blend here. The coldness of the stone and the warmth of the fabric achieve a subtle balance, so that the exquisiteness of the art collection and the relaxation of family movie watching are not inconsistent.

定制木工是空间的 “隐形魔术师”。那些可能破坏视觉流畅的结构斜撑被巧妙隐藏于柜体之中，既维持了空间的简洁线条，又悄然拓展了储物功能。客厅旁的电视房以玻璃门将空间半隐半透，壁炉的暖意、毛绒沙发的柔软与墙面跳跃的艺术色彩在此交融，石材的冷与布艺的暖达成微妙平衡，让艺术收藏的精致与家庭观影的松弛毫无违和。

Every inch of the design of this apartment responds to the owner's love for art. Before construction, the Melamed team used precise 3D rendering technology to simulate the size and color of each artwork in the space, ensuring that the paintings, sculptures and architectural textures achieved visual resonance from the beginning. In the living room, the wall becomes a natural exhibition wall, and the artwork forms a harmonious visual rhythm with the sofas of B&B Italia and the cabinets of Rimadesio; the vibrant colors of the study echo the owner's creative passion. When the two doors are opened at the same time, the view from the west balcony to the Jerusalem Mountains becomes the most magnificent "dynamic artwork" in the space.

这座公寓的每一寸设计，都在回应主人对艺术的热爱。施工前，Melamed 团队便用精准的 3D 渲染技术模拟每件艺术品的尺寸与色彩在空间中的位置，确保画作、雕塑与建筑肌理从一开始就达成视觉共鸣。在客厅，墙面成为天然展墙，艺术品与 B&B Italia 的沙发、Rimadesio 的柜体形成和谐的视觉节奏；书房的 vibrant 色彩则呼应着主人的创作热情，当两扇门同时敞开，从西侧阳台到耶路撒冷山脉的远景便成了空间中最壮阔的 “动态艺术品”。

The mundane life has never been overwhelmed by the exquisiteness of art. The secondary kitchen next to the main kitchen hides the wisdom of pragmatism, and the complete equipment allows for easy preparation of meals for large gatherings; the limited edition tableware displayed in the glass cabinet is not only a daily necessity, but also a miniature work of art. The terrace is a transition zone between art and nature. The outdoor area surrounded by low green plants makes the artwork more vivid in the sea breeze and starlight. When friends toast here, the city night view and the collection of masterpieces together form the most precious memory background.

生活的烟火气从未被艺术的精致淹没。主厨房旁的二次厨房藏着实用主义的智慧，齐全的设备让大型聚会的备餐游刃有余；玻璃柜中陈列的限量版餐具，既是日常用品，亦是微型艺术品。露台则是艺术与自然的过渡带，低矮绿植环绕的户外区域，让艺术品在海风与星光中更显生动，当朋友在此举杯，城市夜景与收藏佳作便共同构成了最珍贵的记忆背景。

In the master bedroom, this sense of symbiosis becomes even more delicate: the hardness of the stone side table contrasts with the soft bedding, and the hanging sculpture of an accordion player injects artistic charm into the private space; the walk-in closet is connected to the open bathroom, and sunlight shines through the blinds onto the stone floor. As light and shadow flow, the trivialities of life and the sublimity of art are reconciled here.

在主卧，这种共生感愈发细腻：石质边桌的硬朗与柔软床品形成对比，悬挂的手风琴演奏者雕塑为私密空间注入艺术灵韵；步入式衣帽间连接着开放式浴室，阳光透过百叶洒在石材地面上，光影流动间，生活的琐碎与艺术的崇高在此和解。

M4 Apartment eventually becomes a container of art and life. It respects the uniqueness of each collection and embraces the daily life. It defines the boundaries of art with the precision of architecture and softens the edges of space with the warmth of life. Just as the couple who love art felt here: the best home is never an art gallery, but a place where art becomes a part of life and every time you look at it, you can see the shape of love.

M4 公寓最终成为艺术与生活的容器 —— 它尊重每一件藏品的独特性，也包容日常的烟火气；它以建筑的精准框定艺术的边界，又以生活的温度软化空间的棱角。正如那对热爱艺术的夫妇在此感受到的：最好的家，从来不是艺术的陈列馆，而是让艺术成为生活呼吸的一部分，让每一次目光所及，都是热爱的形状。
