北京时间8月9日，曼联俱乐部官方发布公告，宣布从莱比锡签下斯洛文尼亚前锋谢什科，根据此前媒体的报道，这笔交易的费用为7650万欧元的转会费另加850万欧附加条款。
根据统计，谢什科是曼联队史转会费(仅计算固定转会费)第7高的引援，而在前10中，今年夏天引进的库尼亚、姆伯莫和谢什科均在列。
