8月6日，河南信阳潢川县七中附近一路段突发高压电线坠落事故，一名路过市民不幸触电身亡，同时坠落的电线引燃路边车辆致其爆炸起火。目击商户向记者描述，高压线坠落后瞬间引发连环险情。事发后，多部门到场处置，紧急封锁危险区域，事故原因尚在调查。
