近来，法国宣布将于9月联合国大会期间正式承认巴勒斯坦国，英国、加拿大也称打算有条件承认巴勒斯坦国，这引发以色列强烈不满。以色列外长萨尔在8月4日的记者会上公然称这三个国家的决定“不道德且极为愚蠢”。目前，法国、英国、加拿大政府对此暂无回应。
