俄罗斯科学院“统一地球物理局”堪察加分部7月31日发布消息说，千岛群岛北部海域当天下午发生6.7级地震。
根据该消息，地震发生在当地时间17时27分（北京时间13时27分），震中距离千岛群岛的北库里尔斯克市213公里，距离堪察加边疆区首府堪察加彼得罗巴甫洛夫斯克市379公里，震源深度58.4公里。（新华社）
