当地时间7月26日，在WTA500华盛顿站双打决赛中，首次搭档的2号种子张帅/汤森德以6-1、6-1战胜多勒海德/肯宁，成功夺冠。这是张帅本赛季的双打首冠，也是她职业生涯的第15个巡回赛双打冠军。搭档汤森德也收获WTA双打第10冠，并将携冠军首登女双世界第一宝座。
