据央视新闻消息，当地时间24日，泰国代理总理普坦表示，柬埔寨对泰国使用重型武器进行袭击，且没有具体目标，这导致多名泰国平民死亡。目前冲突暂时没有蔓延到其它地区，尚未进入战争状态。他表示在与柬埔寨进行任何谈判之前，必须首先停止冲突。
