阿尔巴尼斯对澳网推动澳中两国在人文领域的友好合作充满信心。他还提及，他的好友——澳大利亚前职业网球运动员格伦·巴斯比每年都会来到成都执教。巴斯比告诉他，中国将在未来几年，称霸这项运动！
