7月17日，华为常务董事、终端BG董事长余承东表示，问界M8针对碰撞场景，除了常规解锁系统，采用首创的CPM碰撞解锁冗余模块，将碰撞信号接收器、电源、控制驱动备份并集合，同时设置安全专线，降低在极端场景下无法解锁车门的风险。据余承东介绍，该模块经过50万次充放电实验，可在零下40度至零上85度环境下稳定运行，成本接近业界方案的三倍。
