7月14日，上汽MG名爵汽车宣布，在上汽南京生产基地整装车间，新MG4完成最后的质检工序后驶出生产线，意味着MG品牌新百年新能源战略的首款车型正式量产下线。该款车型搭载MG×OPPO智行车机互联系统，将于8月正式发布。
