此前规划显示，原海光寺家乐福改扩建后的海光MALL将打造集餐饮、娱乐、教培、超市于一体的商业综合体。
商场部分沿街商铺（肯德基、瑞幸、霸王茶姬等）已于2024年陆续营业，但商场内却并未正式开放营业。
日前，海光mall迎来最新进展——商场官宣将引进物美超市，将自主学习胖东来，位于商场二层。
据了解，海光MALL预计将于今年9月底全面运营。
