自2025年7月1日起，湖北省依据相关规定正式实施境外旅客购物离境退税政策。该政策允许境外旅客在离境时，就其在指定退税商店购买的商品申请退还增值税。目前，湖北省首批共有57家退税商店纳入政策范围，遍布武汉、宜昌、恩施等8个城市。（央视新闻）
