据MSF Myanmar消息，一项能为茵莱地区五千多名居民供水的项目已开始启动。该项目预计将于9月完成，并于6月22日开始铺设管道。
3月28日发生的大地震导致掸邦南部茵莱湖内的供水系统遭受损坏。因此，位于烤猪肉寺庙（意译）的这一项目将有助于修复地震期间受损的供水系统。
