China delivered first 1,000-bit superconducting quantum computing control system, ez-Q®Engine 2.0, developed by QuantumCTek and partners. Announced on June 16 by Anhui Quantum Engineering Center, it supports over 5,000 qubits for research units. With 10x higher integration, domestically designed components, and compact size, it costs half of foreign alternatives. Verified in "Zuchongzhi-3" and "Tianyan 504" quantum computers, the team is now developing a 10,000-bit version for error correction. (Photo/China Youth Daily)
