北京时间6月25日，法国U21国青队在本届欧青赛半决赛里0-3完败于德国U21无缘决赛，魏珀、沃尔特马德和格鲁达分别进球。
赛后根据统计，此战0-3不敌德国U21也让法国U21尴尬地追平了他们近40年在欧青赛中遭遇的最大分差失利，此前在2019年欧青赛的半决赛中，他们也曾经以1-4的比分惨败于西班牙U21。
在接下来的欧青赛决赛中，德国U21将会对阵淘汰了荷兰的英格兰U21。
