壳牌公司否认媒体关于其正在积极洽购英国石油公司（BP Plc）的报道。
壳牌发言人表示，“这只是市场的进一步猜测，目前没有进行任何谈判。”
周三早些时候，收购消息一度刺激BP大涨10%。截至当地时间中午12：44，涨幅收窄至1.2%。
5月报道，壳牌曾研究过收购BP的可行性，但考虑等股票和油价进一步下跌后再决定是否出手。
