根据此前的报道，彭亨因经济问题无法参加下赛季马来超，虽然球队已经通过准入，但是仍然决定退出职业联赛。
从本周起，彭亨已经在社交媒体先后与球员、教练道别。24/25赛季中，彭亨排名马来超第8位。
