财联社6月21日电，非洲疾病预防控制中心19日发布消息，自2024年初以来，非洲已报告4万多例猴痘确诊病例，超过1800人死亡。非洲疾控中心办公室主任恩加希·恩贡戈当天在线上新闻发布会上说，自去年年初以来，非洲已有26个国家报告了148308例猴痘疑似病例，其中确诊病例40674例，1816例死亡病例。 (新华社)
