6月19日，微信员工客村小蒋今日发文称："鸿蒙电脑版微信邀请测试活动停止了，我们已经开启公开测试。"目前，鸿蒙电脑用户可以直接在"应用尝鲜"里面下载微信。此前，鸿蒙电脑版微信已于6月6日晚开启内测邀请。
此前开启邀测推送的微信鸿蒙电脑版App版本号为4.0.1.30（262430），首发已支持音视频通话、小程序等功能。
