消息面上，6月9日，五矿资源发布公告，MMG已批准并正在推进Khoemacau矿区Khoemacau扩建项目的前期工程，其中包括建设一个可容纳1,200人的住宿营地。于2025年6月9日，Khoemacau Copper与中冶天工就采购1,200套集装箱房屋签订供应协议。签订供应协议有助于提供建设Khoemacau营地住宿所需物资，且该协议条款符合本集团的商业利益。
