6月8日，甘肃酒泉敦煌月牙泉沙漠地区突降罕见冰雹，鹌鹑蛋大小的冰雹密密麻麻从天而降。视频显示，冰雹来袭前沙丘上狂风卷起尘沙。附近居民称在敦煌多年仅遇两次冰雹，虽下冰雹时间不足十分钟但大家仍兴奋围观。
