休斯敦记者Adam Spolane补充报道称，乌度卡与火箭的4年合同目前刚好过半，因为近些年来教练员的工资也迎来了爆发式上涨，因此乌度卡预计将迎来一波大幅涨薪，尼克斯对他的兴趣可能对此事推波助澜。
2023年，乌度卡跟火箭签下了一份4年2850万美元的合同，将于2026-27赛季后到期。
