据日本气象厅消息，日本北海道钏路市附近海域5月31日发生6.1级地震。目前暂无人员伤亡报告。
气象厅说，地震发生于当地时间5月31日17时37分（北京时间5月31日16时37分）左右，震中位于北纬42.3度、东经144.5度，震源深度20公里。
气象厅还说，此次地震不会引发海啸。（总台记者 林博翰）
