5月30日，第26届亚洲田径锦标赛男子5000米决赛，小将于水庆跑出13:35.93位列第7，创造新PB的同时打破2001年由李柱宏创下的全国青年纪录（13:41.44），同时创中国历史第八快成绩。
该成绩也是自1997年八运会之后，中国男子5000米最好成绩。
