菲律宾总统马科斯阵营的参议员在中期选举中表现不佳，部分舆论要求马科斯辞职，但他拒绝这么做。马科斯上周要求全体内阁部长礼节性辞职，以便在中期选举之后重新调整政府。
马科斯在访问中说，他愿意与前总统杜特尔特家族和解，也一直反对弹劾杜特尔特女儿、副总统莎拉，但他不会接受杜特尔特家族提出的条件。
